First off, sometimes the ol' PT doesn't act as she should be...When leaving a parking lot or something for example, getting up to speed the car will shift....Hard. What can I do to make it smoother??
I've always had a habit to do this since I started driving a stick..but whenever I come up to a red light, I push the car into Neutral. The RPMs will either be the same at speed, or increase a little bit. Even in Rush hour traffic going 5mph, putting it in neutral, the RPMs will be ~1200. But when I am completely stopped it'll be normal again. Shouldn't it be, that when the car is in neutral, the RPM's should be at idle RPM???? Tell me I'm being dumb or please help! ![]() Thanks in advance!
