is there a difference between a non-turbo and turbo ignition coil. I suspect mine may be bad and can only find a NT coil at the junk yards

I'm pretty sure they are both the same, but they rarely go bad. Why do you think yours is?

You could always go aftermarket too if you can live with a bit stiffer ride and lower ground clearence. I'm eyeing out the Tokico shock/strut/spring combo. I found it on one website for $350. My struts are dying so it's a good time to upgrade.

just noticed I did not put ignition coil.....
I'm taking a stab in the dark....motor misses alot at idle and get the code saying cylinder 4 misfire frequently. I have cahnged the plugs, wires and ran techron thru the fuel system in case an injector was dirty. Don't know where else to go without getting expensive and having the valves checked. Have had this problem for over a year now but doesn't seem to affect the power from the turbo |

As far as I know the coils cross up. I'm wondering if it might be something else though. The coils I believe run off two packs, one fires 1 & 4, the other 2 & 3. I would almost think if it were going bad you should have two misfire codes. Then again it could just be an internal short. If you're unlucky it might be a problem with valves or low compression. It would be nice if it were just the coil. I'm thinking my aftermarket coil cost $80. I don't know what the wrecker wants or new oem. It has held up for a while. I have my old one kicking around somewhere, but don't know where.
