i have an 06 pt non turbo with a k&n cold air intake full cat back exhaust and new spark plugs and it sounds good but when its in park or neutral it only revs to 3500 rpm does anyone know how to remove it??

It's a safety feature so you don't blow up your engine.

You posted the same question in the General Section so I'll repeat what I said there and what MG just told you....
The limiter is controlled by the computer. You cannot override it. There's nothing you can buy to get around it. It's there to stop you from over-revving and hurting the engine. Welcome to the forum.

wat about the jet ecu chip? doesnt that change the entire stock computer?

You can possibly use the SCT tune to raise the rev limiter when going through the gears, but you'd be mistaken to remove the rev limiter in neutral and park.

what is the sct?? and theres a jet ecu chip for 280.00 i was thinking maybe that would work. the car sounds good when i'm driving and when i rev it a little i just want to be able to rev it all the way because i think it would sound better
