Default Bosch Plugs?

Getting ready for a spark plug change for my 02 Touring PT. Looking at the Bosch platinum plugs. Any difference between the platinum+2 and the platinum+4? What do you guys prefer?

I'm using Bosch dbl plats in my wife's '04 na PT. I decided to see how long they would last. After 65k miles I decided to change them even though the car was still running great. Yep, put Bosch dbl plats back in again. I'm sold on them.

Word of caution: Do not use platinum plugs in the turbo model. Because the turbo runs hotter they will melt.

welcome.
Is the + 4 the one with 4 electrodes? I don't buy the premise of that. Spark will find which one is closest and use that one only. How would you gap them?
Gap should be 0.040 (a TSB reduced it from 0.050 in manual).

I have the Bosch plugs with the four electrodes and have had them in for over 18,000 miles. Engine runs like a clock. I'm sold on them.

I have the Bosch platinum+4 in my '05 Cruiser with 82,000 miles on the engine and the plugs work wonderfully. They were installed 20,000 miles ago and they have worked just perfect, over any type of driving situation I get into. My gas mileage is still the same as when they were installed. I have not noticed anything negative with them. I recommend them.

Platinum plugs are fine for an N/A PT Cruiser,it's the turbos where problems have been reported....Supposedly because they run hotter, and can melt the platinum electrode.
