Default help- service at 120000 miles

i have 2001 pt cruiser ltd, bought it 2years 7months back, and it already had 90000 miles on it. i'm new in this country and at that time i had no idea how to buy a car, so i didn't check any carfax report or anything , just drove the car and bought it. it's running fine no problems except pickup has gone down a bit and so the mpg. i've got the oil changed every 3000 miles without fail. now i have 120000 miles on it and was wondering what are the service required to impove the running and life of my car. i love this car and i just don't want to sell it. please advise and let me know how much do i have to spent on it ,if possible.

Timing belt, Water pump, BeltTensioner, and Autolite or Champion Platinum Spark Plugs (set to 0.40"), Performance Plug wires. If I remember right it will be around $800 - $1000.

BTW, welcome to the Forum, glad you're here.

Along with what Hooligan has mentioned, the previous owner probably sold/traded in his PT before the $$$ service was due so you'll probably need the 2 belts (alternator and serpentine) along with the timing belt.

Welcome to the forum.
