Help...Hub Bearings???

My '05 was just diagnosed as needing new hubs/bearings? I was hearing a moaning/creaking when coming to a stop. Also, when driving, when I turned the wheel steering wheel to the left, I would feel a vibration. I was quoted $700; any thoughts...please respond so I know if I should pull my car and bring it somewhere else. Thanks.

Always good, if you can, to get a second estimate on a high paying job. Is that a dealer price? If so, you can always save a bunch by going to a trusted mechanic.

Without knowing more about your driving habits, modifications that you or previous owner have done, it's hard to say if that's your real problem but there's been owners here complaining about changing bearings at 25K.
