Default homemade wothiness ?

Hi i just wanted some opinons about homemade boost controlers (1/4 inch piping...), is it worth it ? reliable? Links of it with pictures? And if i do it, is it a good idea to wait till i install the blow off valve conversion?

THANKS!

AH, the good old plumbing section of the hardware store. They do work, but not something I would use without being able to see the amount of boost they are creating. Also, they tend to lead to some spiking, but for the what $10 bucks in plumbing fittings and fuel line it takes to make one it's hard to beat the investment price.

I know, thats why it looks so interesting. Ive read that with the valve turned all the way opened, its supposed to be 18 PSI.
