Default stage one package

hey guys, is there a garanteed way to buy the stage one (ecu and squirters) but get the bov conversion with it?

i heard a lot of people getting it with the stage 1....

If ive read corectly, most performance mods should start with that stage 1...is it right?

thanks guys!

just purchase my winter tires yesterday (sunday) cuz for this winter up here (quebec) winter tires are MANDATORY!

Unless you just like the noise MOPAR's BOV conversion doesn't do anything for you. Of course, noise is good though.

you will find pros and cons on the BOV. I personally have one and the way I see it it stops the turbo from cavitating because of the excessive pressure already built up when the throttle is closed.

If the PTGT is as much like it's SRT-4 cousin as it seems to be, then it already has a surge valve. It's just quiet about it. It would be triangular and on the underside-ish area of the turbo. Haven't picke dup my PTGT yet or seen the shop manual so I can't promise you, but I assumed it already basically had a BOV.

it indeed has a surge vlave, but it lets the air out in the tubing....not bad but outside is better.....

Can't help you with the package deal, but if you're just looking to get the noise, replacing the stock airbox with a metal cold air intake should allow you to hear the surge venting. Mopar's blue plate will be louder though.
