Hi I am new to this site. I have a 2006 Pt Touring and am having problems with the back latch. For some reason the touch pad to open the hatch wont work. In order to open the back hatch I have to use the key wich is a real pain. Does anyone have any answers? We have checked the fuses and they are all ok! Please help!

Welcome to the forum Michele.
A few owners have had back latch problems, some where the key won't even open it but I've never seen a good answer except to take the whole thing apart to see what's wrong or drop it off at the dealer $$$. Yours might work different since it's a new model but I have to hit the key fob twice to open the trunk. One last thing. Being an 06, aren't you still under warranty?
