Well at least you didn't do what my buddy did to his old Jeep... He got curious (even after I told him never to do this) and he threw it into park while going 45 mph...

Well he did want a new car, and we did have a heck of a lot of fun in that old jeep... It was like a tank, seriously. But yeah, he threw it into park because he was curious and honestly is not the brightest...

Well in his words... "It made a thumping crunchy noise, the tires started squealing and the motor stopped running." Basically he stalled out the car by making the motor go from 2000 rpm to 0 instantly. It locked up the rear wheels and probably did some major damage to the tranny in the process. I am amazed he didn't spin it! That jeep was such a fun vehicle...

Yea...they are a lot of fun! My dad has an '83 CJ-7 Jeep (hard top), love that sucker. We keep it in on our land, in the woods tho'

Sooooo, I'm assuming it's dead?

Actually, they sold it to a dealership for $600. The dealer put some new body panels on the car, straightened out some dents and cleaned it all up, then put it on the lot for $2,600! Keep in mind that car has literally been jumped, crashed, off roaded, and pretty much any other rough thing you can think of!
