Default Electrical Problems

I have a basic 2006 PT Cruiser. Yesterday the instruments, Instrument lights, interior lights, and remote door locks stopped working. The car runs fine and everything else works fine. Where do I start looking for the problem? I looked in the manual and no fuses are indicated for this problem. Has there been a recall for this type of problem?..

Welcome to the Forum. everything except the remote door locks are controlled with the stalk by the steering wheel. There is a "sticky" for parts manual, have you downloaded it? You didn't mention how many miles on the 2006. Give us a hint. Good luck!!!

2006 has 18,000 miles. I pulled each fuse one at a time and checked them. All are good. When I restarted the car the problem has cleared, everything is working 100%. It may have been a loose fuse or I may have an intermittent problem. I'll monitor the situation and see how it goes, thanks for your input. How do I download the manual updates?.

Cheers.

Stephen.

Try this or do a Search. Go to main menu and then go to: General PT Cruiser Discussions . Once that comes up the Stiicky will
be on the top.
