P0037 HO2S Heater Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2

The car was damaged in the front end. We had to replace the radiator and ac condensor. We reset the check engine light, but it came back on with this code.

From the information I was able to gather, your problem is a bad Oxygen Sensor. In your case it's the down stream O2 sensor which is located on the left side of the CAT.

What that has to do with your crash I don't know but that's what the code is about.

It might not have any thing to do with the accident the car was in. we just bought the car and had the damage repaired from where it was in an accident and it has had the check engine light on since we bought it. Do you think it could be a bad 02 sensor with only 34,000 miles? I have only seen one 02 sensor on the car and it is mounted in the cat. converter under the car. Would that be it?
Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it.

Your welcome.

Here in Florida, we no longer call them "accidents". When two vehicles collide, no matter how much damage occurs, it's a CRASH.

I couldn't pass up the car for what i have in it. It basiclly only needed a bumper cover, fender and a headlight. It has a regular title and is a 2007 with only 34,000 miles.
