need help? add cruise control to 2005?

looking at a really nice deal on a 2005 PT Cruiser. no cruise control. how big a deal is it to add it? where do you buy the parts? I'm pretty handy under the hood - in fact I did add cruise control back in 82 to my Toyo Celica. just nervous that there's no place for it under that very tightly packed hood.

dealer says he can have it done for $500. gulp! would like to do it myself cheaper. any and all ideas/feedback appreciated.

Anyone is cheaper than the dealer. Most audio shops and some Car stores will sell the kit and install it or you can take it home and try it yourself.

It's a pretty easy job. I installed it on my 2005 5spd a couple of months ago. PM me if you want more details. I ordered the Mopar kit from a dealer on Ebay and paid around $180.00 shipped. Installed it in 3 hours.
