I'm not sure about what kind of gas you use with the chip, but they haven't been very well received on this Forum. Seeing that many are listed on e bay, they can't be that great.

Hooligan's right. I'm pretty sure you have to switch to premium fuel and the price compared to what you get out of it doesn't make sense.
If you read the dozens of other threads on owners trying to "beef up" the N/A cruiser, you'll see that unless you spend a lot of cash (adding NOS, turbo, supercharger) all the little add-ons won't do much for performance. A decent air-intake and flow-thru exhaust system and keeping it tuned up is the bast way to go. Less weight will help too. If you can do away with the back seats and spare tire you gain more than the Jet chip. |

I know it does work, atleast compared to a PT that I drove stock with this one that has the chip. Although I have been toying with the Idea of just taking it out, but don't know how that will work, I.E. if I decide to put it back in if I don't like it out.
