2006 Airbag Light

i have a 2006 PT Crusier Touring Edition, My issue is that seems like everytime i have a passanger in my front seat my passanger airbag light comes on....here is the funny/starange thing. Im 4'11" and it seems to go off when i drive, and I have the seat back as far as i can and still touch the peddles, but when my boyfriend drives he's 6'2" it does not do it.
At frist i thought that it was my son, not meeting the weight requirement, and i figured that is not it, becasue me and my bf both weigh more than 90 lbs.
Does anyone have any ideas.

I moved your post to the Tech section.

You should be still under warranty. Take it back to the dealer and tell them what's happening. Either way (in/out warranty) you have a loose or faulty connection or sensor and it should be fixed for safety.

right after i got it i took it back to the place i boutght it and they had to send it to the dealer, and everyone said that there was nothing wrong, and since i dont have many people in the front seat it is kinda of hard for me to notice if it was fixed or not....
now it is starting to bother me not working properly
