I have an 05 that makes a noise when first starting up (mostly on cooler mornings) that sounds similar to a power steering sound made when turning wheels too much. It seems to go away after driving a few minutes but makes it every AM during start up. Any ideas what this could be. I did check PS fluid and it is full. I do not turn wheels when starting - sound starts after cranking and while idling-before backing out. Thanks.

Steering doesn't have it's own belt but there is one for the alternator and of course the serpentine belt. Either could be making the noise. The tensioner should take up the slack on the serpentine belt so that narrows it down to the alternator if indeed that's what's making the noise.
