Default Radiator and Heater hose kits

Hey guys I'm trying to upgrade my engine compartment one bit at a time. I seen this kit over at JC Whitney....but I'm wondering if anyone has ever used this type of kit? I like the look...I just dont want to do anything that will jeopardize my engine.

They work fine but about every few months I go over the 2 hose clamps on each end of the hose to make sure they are tight. I can sometimes get 1/8 to 1/4 turn on them so they do become loose.

Haven't seen anything like that, I assume you have to decide the length of hose needed, or do you have to buy everything. I didn't see the heating unit. To me, IMHO, if it is designed for a 2006 PT, it should just come with what you need, this looks like this is a "fitz all" for any style vehicle.

Ernie,

If you look closely or hit the info/buy button it gives a choice of the length of hose needed. Each hose comes in a variety of rubber ends to fit all sizes that may be needed so the length is all you need. They are talking about the radiator hose only I think becuase I see nothing about the heater hose.

I got the same thing in (I believe 24 inches) for a lot less money at the big show in Daytona (Turkey Run). I picked one up for the PT and the Vette and believe it or not, my wife's KIA.

Everything in the engine bay WAS black.

Talking Re: Radiator and Heater hose kits

Thanks for all the info guys. I really like the look, as far as going in every few months to tighten things up...I really don't mind. I'm always in my engine cleaning things and detailing.
