So you replaced the cap?
My PT was overheating. It seemed to be a fan problem, now that is fixed.
My father put in the radiator flush with the heater on full blast. Then he unhooked the top hose and ran water through it til it cleared. The plug won't let anything out. Should I just blow into the plug to see if it lets liquid out or should I just try to pop the whole cap out?
btw.
the antifreeze is now drained, water is in it's place. He's now just trying to get the water out so he can replace the antifreeze.
Is there a way to get the plug out? My father is getting like all fathers do...crazy. hahaha

I'm pretty sure the whole plug doesn't have to come out. Is the radiator cap off when you turned the radiator plug counter-clockwise? You might have a sever blockage at the bottom of the radiator. About the only thing to do now (if the water won't drain) is to take the lower radiator hose off. If nothing comes out then, you do have a sever blockage in the radiator.

On mine someone had put Dexcool in it. Thats the reason I asked what color your fluid was. The Dexcool can damage the system by corroding it. I could take my lower hose off and fluid would come but half the radiator was full of crap.

My dad was able to flush out the water. He kept trying - very carefully - to turn the plug. It turned a little more. The fluid started coming out
Thanx for all the help. He replaced the antifreeze and everything is now working
I'm so happy my baby is going to work again

Odd... my radiator is full of orange crap too. Seemingly big chunks of it. I need to flush my radiator, but i've been too busy replacing the timing belt
