when mine was overheating and missfiring i ended up blowing the head gasket. leaking water through a puncture on the top of the radiator caused the over heating. and i never drove it far enough to really notice the temp gauge. what codes were pulled out?

All 3 of our PT's have had them, in the past I have just washed them in soapy water, I believe it is for the PVC valve.

yeah i called the dealer and got a new one this one was so old it was already getting brittle. thanks so much for your help
