programmable or aftermarket pcm 2001 PT

I have a 2001 PT 5 speed and i was looking for upgrades like intake/ exsust manifold and things like that.. but what i can not find is a way to program the PCM or computer in the car.. do they make such a thing? if not what other ways can i can improve my car?

Don't know of a way or have I heard of an individual hooking their computer up to the PCM. There is a company that will exchange your computer for theirs which is supposedly reprogrammed for petter performance.

Down side: It cost about $300. Very little improvement (about 15hp) AND USE MUST USE PREMIUM FUEL.
