NO its not worth the hassle

Like everyone has already pointed out, the N/A PT is made for cruisin not power. All the things you mentioned above will maybe give you 5-10 more HP and a couple of them (coil, throttle body spacer, and bigger, polished throttle body) won't to a darn for your PT ....a complete waste of money.

A good tune up (plus & wires), a little more cool air into the throttle body and a free flow, lighter in weight exhaust are (without spending loads of cash) the best things you can do.

Good results from some of the headers which wold also need a mandrel bent light weight exhaust have been reported but your talking almost $1000 and it's not not going to give you that kick-in-the-pants your probably after.

Kenny Bell makes a thing called the Optimizer for a few hundred dollars and you should get abut 15-20 hp from that, but if your computer is ever flashed by the dealer (and they do that without asking to cure many problems) your programming will be lost for good.

If money is no object, you can add a turbo and still probably wouldn't be up anywhere near the stock turbo with the easy add-on stage 1 plus the internals of the N/A cruiser aren't built like the turbo motor.

Last but not least is Nitrous It can be added for a starting price of about $600 but you will need add-ons and can only use it sparingly or you'll end up taking home pieces of your engine.

What about the whipple supercharger kit? Will a n/a motor handle that or do you need a turbo motor because of the beefier internals?

The Whipple only fits the 2001 and 2002 and you have a 2003 but here's some reading.

i don't remember if you have the 5 speed or a auto but from what i have heard the auto just are total crap and if you start adding zip you will be following a tow truck real close but you know i could be wrong

I have a non turbo 06 auto so trust me im not picking the car apart i love mine its just not all i had hoped it would be but it sure looks cool to me

Thanks for the info on the whipple.I'm not out to set any landspeed records or anything with the PT.I just wanted a lil more zip when people rev it up next to me with their civics with four inch fartcans and half primered cracked bodykits.(But just so you guys all know i'm not hating on civics..Me and my buddy took the H22A out of a prelude and put it in a 4 door civic with a stage 2 clutch and flywheel and I loved that car.It was a awesome sleeper.)And someone said something about $1000 for a full exhaust.Since I work at Advance I can get it for about $600 so thats not to bad.

That $1000 was the full exhaust with a JBL or Headman header. I'd ask around first for someone that's bought one before spending that kind of money. See what performance gains there are.
