WHERE IS THE TRANNY MOUNT????

Changing my brakes I realized my whole engine moves and a motor mount must be broke......from my understanding there are three I have found two...the other is a tranny mount.....does anyone have a pic or directions to find it and how hard will these be to change????? Does anyone have a step by step to changing all three?????????

The tranny mount is on the driver side. You get to it through the wheelwell. Here is the PT manual. FREE 01-04 PT Repair Manual
Seriously doubt you broke a tranny mount. The motor mounts on the pass side are extremely weak and have a history of breaking. When replacing use the Neon SRT-4 mounts as they will fit and are a lot stronger.

You are welcome. Just in case you still want to the SRT-4 tranny mount will not fit the PT. Different tranny.

I removed the tranny mount last night to inspect it on my pt.. and the easiest way to get to it is to remove the airfilter box completely remove the battery/plate under the battery, and then remove the housing that holds the fusebox in place and push it back towards the firewall a couple inches and the tranny mount is right there... as meangreen said... this is probably not the issue as it wasn't with my pt either... i think all 3 passenger side motor mounts went out before the tranny mount went out hahah i already replaced one and ordered the other 2.

p.s. when removing the tranny mount make sure you jack the engine up using a peice of wood in between the jack and your transmission... but make sure it isnt your drain pan for the transmission your jacking the car up on ..

p.s.s. hahah if you dont jack the engine in place the engine will fall about 4 - 5 inches down <--- knows./..

ok how do you get the top right engine mount out??? once you get the bolt undone.....the ac line are there HHEELLPP
