Default How do you get the front bearing out of the HUB???

How do you get the front bearing out of the HUB without a special tool???? My bearing is bad.....do i get the bearing out or do I buy a bearing and hub combo or what do I do from here....I have the bearing and hub sitting off the car...where do I GO FROM HERE HELLLPP!!!!!!!

you take it to a place with a press and they PRESS out the old and press in the new in not sure where you are but some times a place like Orileys will have a press if not they should know of where one is

ok good info I will check......glad to have you guys....im gunna start doing my own work on the PT and im new to this home mechanic stuff......couldnt do it with out you guys.....doing brakes and rotors.....my motor moves so I am researching what motor mounts might be bad or what to do there so any info on this will help and bearings are bad......had it lowered in the front a few years ago and its messin some stuff up really bad because of it

no problem and there are some really sharp guys on her and crezwin is like MR on it with the pics of what to look at and where

brakes and really super easy on the PT the rotors are as well
from what i have read the motor mounts are to bad to change
the only killer is that dearned ole timming belt thing

ok found a place that is puting the new bearing in $50 to take out the old and put in the new......... where did you say I could get pics of the motor mounts and where to look

I post most of the pictures from a Haynes Manual but it doesn't talk about the motor mounts. On the top of the Tech section you'll find a download of the 01-04 repair manual and that might answer most of your questions. Plenty of pictures too.
