Your right, the throttle body is in a different position on the Turbo. The Non-turbo (your picture) has the TB opening pointed directly at the side of the car whereas the TB opening of the Turbo (Don's photo) is facing on more of a angle towards the front left headlight.
That's why in the first picture (with the sanded ribs and painted flag) that I thought it was a turbo because the TB (I thought) was pointing forwards. The picture isn't that clear and I guessed wrong.
