You can't just bolt on a turbo and go from there. If you want to do it right here's an example.
the axe effect The non turbo PT engine is weak and needs to be upgraded internally to run more than 9-10 psi. Unless you or someone else is very experienced you'd probably be better off buying a PT turbo. As for getting more power for a non turbo engine, good luck. Not really worth the money.

go to google and type in "Hahn Stage 2 Turbo kit" it's a full kit, i know a couple guys running them WITHOUT PROBLEMS! everyone's car is their chariot, if you want to make it a turbo, then by god make it turbo! what you'll need (rough estimate)
-Hahn turbo kit (includes turbo, exhaust manifold, WGA) - 750cc Injectors (good till 28PSI, more than you will run) -Aeromotive Fuel pressure regulator (keeps things safe) - Walboro 255 fuel pump (get the gas there) -alot of spare time ![]() Do what you want, not what people tell you. Josh |

Yeah piston bonfire! that is why in () i put rough estimate. IMHO any turbo application stock or not should be running a wideband and a boost guage atleast... i am not saying "everyone is mean" i am just simply pointing out ALL options and letting each person make their own decision (hopefully educated). at the end of the day each person is only responsible to and for themselves. no harm no foul. best of luck on what you do decide. Josh PS- meangreen...are you white heat on the crew? |

Funny thing is the guy who put the holes in his block was using a wideband. Where he should have been taking it easy and tuning it he just punched it and BOOM!!!! Yeah, everyone look at the suggestions and make up their own mind. The guy whose build I showed is extremely knowledgeable. He also swapped in a 5 speed from an auto tranny.

Colton, please start a new thread for that.
Anyway, try doing a turbo engine swap, throw in the Getrag tranny as well, then you have a sleeper GT!!!
