Sorry to hear about that. If it is your first, that's not bad for as long as you've had it,but yo cold have saved some cash because of the alternative ways of fixing the drain plug. Replacing the whole pan was a bit overkill but I'm sure the dealer recommended it. If your happy with the results, that's what counts.

Right John, but there are kits that thread a new hole and you get a new oversize plug. Dealers, of course, don't like to do things like that if they can sell you a new pan. Anyway, you got all new parts and should last a long time, if your keeping the PT. Find any kind of club or gathering in the area yet. I see lots of PT's around when I visit my son, you just have to get them all together.

I guess all new is good since I plan on keeping until the wheels fall off. No, have founf no close activities related to PT's. During the summer months, I do go over to Chester for a cruise-in on Saturday nights. Usually stay 2-3 hours.
