use the srt-4 ecu
3" dp, with 3" straight exhaust

I think you should try asking the guys over at PTCrew.com - Learn it or Burn it. They are into racing. We have a couple of owners that also have the SRT's so maybe one will come along and give you some advice.

Mostly we tell people with non-turbo's that they should have bought the GT model or at least the Turbo Lite. The internals are already beefed up and with Chrysler's Stage 1 and a few other add-ons you can get up in the high 200 hp range.

You didn't say if you had an automatic or shift, hopefully the later as the auto trans can't take a lot of pushing.

Buy a 5 speed GT and go big turbo with supporting mods. Way cheaper than what you want to do.

Why?
Just get the SRT-4.
It's lighter and lower than the PT.

well because i see plenty of srt-4's on the road and i havent seen a pt cruiser that has 350whp and handles great. i want to build a sleeper pt cruiser. just imagine the look on a driver of an sti as a pt cruiser rapes him not only in acceleration but in handling

Let me know how the handling goes. No disrespect meant to anyone that has a good handling PT, but they just seem a bit out of balance (read top heavy) to be able to out handle too many cars. (Just my opinion, my GT handles Great, but it still has A Heck of a Lot of Body Roll in turns! But then I'm used to my butt dragging on the ground in the RX7's I've had.)

That's my point. I love my PT, but racer it isn't. Physics is against us. Too tall, too heavy.

I've seen one. My buddy has a 400+ whp '03 GT that's also setup for the twisties. This past Sept he joined the 130 mph club at Bonneville Salt Flats. You have to run below 140 mph for two passes. His first pass was 136.08 and his second pass was 139.24. He almost busted out on his second pass so he gave up his last two attempts and not push it. He had to back off on both passes so as not to bust out so we know the car is faster still. I've driven the car and it is a rush.
