Lost a timing belt while driving on the freeway. What have others experienced regarding piston or valve damage on the 2.4L when loosing the timing belt?
I have the experience to replace the belt, etc. Just need some guidance. How can you tell if there is piston or valve damage? Thanks, Charlie PT |

Thank you for your quick reply. I've decided to remove the head.
Have you had the head off of a 2.4L? If so are there any tricks that you could share? Thanks, CharliePT |
