Default Accessory Drive Splash Shiel Bolts Stripped

I went to change the belts on the 2005 PT (non turbo). Tight work space but pretty easy, right? The splash shield at the fender well is coming out okay, but two of the bolts just spin in place. I tried first by hand and then with an air ratchet. They are blind holes. I just put everything back to gether since I needed the car. Any ideas? I assume they were put in too tightly when the car was assembled as the belts were never replaced. Is drilling them out (as long as they just don't spin with the drill) my only option? Air chisel off the heads (if I can get an air chisel up there)? These are the days I regret doing things on my own rather than letting the stealership deal with these little things. TIA

Aren't these push/pull fasteners (i.e. snap-tite)?

2 push pull plastic things and 4 bolts from what I remember. I am going to try getting a scredriver wedged under the bolt head to get some tension on it and hopefullthe the threads will catch.
