Default Horn

Hi,

The horn in my 06 went out over the weekend. I cant seem to be able to figure out how to get to it though. I know its on the passenger side, somewhere behind the head lamp, but I just don't seem to see it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ed

Your in luck! I just replaced my horn on my 07 with a f-150 dual tone horn.

Its located in the right fender up high. You will have to unscrew the fender well. No need to take it off as it will be easily accessible from there.

Heres my horn

No need to remove tire - drive up on ramps and get at from underneath.

Ahooga Horns can also fit facing down next to the computer, facing vertical in the front grill or if you have an aftermarket air filter it can go in the space behind the battery.

Or, under the plastic cowl by the windshield wipers.

Cool Re: Horn

Engine bay is crowded enough!
I added the "high tone" Highway Blaster at Autozone to the OEM low tone, and the sound is great!
Taking the wheel off is a no-brainer, if you don't want to make the job much harder up in the wheel well, and end up swearing at the thing!
