Default Molded hose/tube for '03 GT breather filter???

Does anyone have the part number or know where to buy the molded hose/tube that connects the engine to the breather filter in the air intake box for an '03 GT (2.4L Turbo)? Mine is dry rotted and starting to crack. I checked every auto parts store and the dealer I bought the car from and nobody seems to know the part number. If there is an alternative that would work as well. The kicker is that each end of the tube is a different diameter. The diameter coming out of the engine is smaller than the diameter on the air intake box that goes to the breather filter. Can anyone help?

Darn! If it's anything like the non-turbo molded hose, I'd just take it to the auto store, get the same diameter straight hose (or maybe just a bit longer in case the bends need more room) and save yourself about $70.

Holy Crap

I tried using the fuel line hose but it kept kinking up. Can anyone offer an alternative? Perhaps a hose that's a little thinner and "bends" easier? I've never had to replace this part before.

As I said in my reply, if you take the hose to the auto shop they will have different thicknesses of hoses to choose on long rolls so you can get as much as your need. Pick one that will fit diameter wise and then get it about 6 inches longer than you need so when you make the bend it won't kink because you can make a bigger loop. Same goes for your fuel line pick of a hose. Did you get a longer piece so you could make a bigger bend?

If I remember right its 3/8th inch fuel line. I used fuel line since its more durable against the oil.

I think the hose I used was just too thick. Also, to complicate matters, each end of the hose is a different diamerter. I'll just go with the larger diameter and use a hose clamp to hold it on the engine.

Give yourself a little length as you can always loop it in a tight spot.
