Anyone out there bought this particular air intake system? Ready to buy, need any thoughts/comments.

In general most of the aftermarket intakes will accomplish the same thing. They tend to be "short ram" style. Some are better than others because they have heat shielding. Unless you are doing repeated numerous passes down the quarter mile one after another a short ram will not hurt performance. People say that it sucks hot air from the engine bay, and they are right after driving for a while it will begin to draw hot air, but the sound of any exposed element filter is great.

COP TZER,

Thanks for your advice, I would really like to get feed back from someone with the injen intake installed in PT. Noticeable gains, sound etc.....

Thx. Sakalboy.

I have had the Injen intake installed on my PT for about a year and a half now.....it sounds great! The element is easy to clean...although it takes awhile to dry because its a closed end cone. As far as noticeable gains......not much, if any.....this is mostly a "looks and sounds" change than a performance change

John
