need a little help.
ok so my wife wont admit it but i think she smacked a curb or something.
reciently the motor started hopping around when starting or turning off the vehicle. didnt seem TOO serious until the cv joints began to make alot of noise, especially when turning.
so its been off limits and sitting since, yestorday i finally got a day off to check, and to my surprise *sarcastic* i found the lower motor mount bent, the bolt and nut holding it in bent, and the rubber insert is if i am correct, missing a the fourth cushion, i assume that because there is a one inch gap.....
so i dont want to sound stupid but is this my problem for sure?
if so what am i looking at to replace it and what steps would i take?
will i need to loosen other motor mounts to get the motor back straight?
it sounds like a pile of crap even idleing? is it possible my belts are runnings against something? is it possible my motor could have moved that much by screwing up one motor mount?
any help leading me in the right direction would be VERY GREATLY appreciated, i know nothing about these cars, they are like a maze to mee.
me and my wife are now sharing my jeep 5.9l v8 that gets 8mpg... until we fix the gas saver >.<
feel my pain!
we both work 45 mins away!
lol anyways any help will be great. thank you.
-danny.
