Yeah, the dealership I took mine to charges $145 just to look at anything, so you have to be careful what you ask them to check. It's like asking a question of a lawyer or a CPA.

i would suggest contacting Chrysler and see if there are any certified independent shops. Dealers usually charge $75+ and hour, most smaller shops get about half that. I have and never will ever take any car I owned to a dealership. AND most of their mechanics are straight out of school. So green in fact that they have to check a book on everything. No experience there...
