06 Air Intake mod?
I was about ready to take out the stock air box and saw there were wires attached to the wheel well and what looks to be the lower tube coming out the bottom right of the box. If I take all this stuff out....am I looking for trouble?

I had a '06 and now have a '08 and have had the air box loose. I didn't see any wires on either. The pipe directs the cold air from the wheel well to the air box and then on to the engine.
