OBD 2 code reader
Am I missing something? When I plug my code reader all I get is err I have A 2007 pt non turbo and i cannot get my code reader to pick up anything all I get is err. Do I have to have a different code reader for PT's???????This has worked on all my other car's why not this one??? Thank you in advance. By the way nothing is wrong but when I did have a problem this did happen with my code reader.

Is your code reader CAN - Controller Area Network compatable?
All late model vehicle communication protocals are switching to CAN.

Check out this CAN obd2 scanner.
I've been using it for years and it is great but you need a laptop or desktop.
