may have found a member willing to help me do this head gasket job. this is the first one ive ever done so i will be sketchy with it and im scared to mess it up more, so if you know what your doing i sure could use your help haha! plus i figure if i can get help with this i will kinda know what im doing next time haha!

help... still looking for someone who can do the head gasket job on my PT!! im flying home thurs for a wedding and wont be back till tues and i have everything bought to do this in my posession, including new head bolts.. I will deliver the pt cruiser to whoever will do it for me around clemson-anderson south carolina.. and ill pay i just need this done and i just cant do it, and i cant afford to pay a dealer or even the local shop to me.. they want 800 bux to do it with me supplying the parts and i know it can be done for much cheaper!! either way i couldnt afford it if i was working more hours

hey - My 01 pt over heated after replacing the thermistat and radiator - "finally" someone asked me if I ever ran the heater after I replaced radiator? I was starting to think the same thing too headgasket but just like you nothing that really points to that being the problem. So try running the heater for a while. it just might be vapor lock. Fixed my problem imedately. Hope it helps.
