Default MSD Coil Type For "B" engine

All:

I have an 05 Limited non turbo. I m looking to upgrade the ignition coil. I searched the MSD website and there are two listed. They state that the terminals on the coil can be either round or flat. I cannot check this on the car because of the intake. Does anyone know? Is one listed for turbo and the other for non turbo? I just cannot leave well enough alone so I am doing some bolt on engine work. I am sure the stock coil will be fine with my Magnecor wires but it won't look as good.....Thanks ahead of time. Next: intake.

The stock coil is more than adequate. Aftermarket coils for the PT are a waste of money.

PTZee,

As Mean Green already said, the stock coil is quite adequate for even a modified non-turbo PT. As far as not looking good with your wires, both the coil and wires aren't seen because of the upper intake and there's not a whole lot you can do to the intake to change that.

If you HAVE to spend your money, the terminals are round on the stock coil.
