Default Another noise thread, since they're so popular..

So, I've got this small little problem that I've been overlooking for quite some time now. It's very, very small, not noticeable with music playing and barely noticeable with windows open.

It doesn't occur when driving in neutral.

The noise happens when I accelerate, at about 1500-1800rpms. It's a single, quick little chirp/squeak and it also happens when it shifts to second gear. Not really sure what it is. Sounds like it's coming from the engine compartment.

At this moment, not sure if it happens when the A/C is off. I have a horrid memory. Will check that tomorrow.

Any ideas? Maybe I'll take her around for a ride tomorrow and see if I can get the noise on video.

Didn't have a chance to take a video today due to work, but I did notice on the way home that it only happens with the A/C on.
