Default Oil PSI Sensor

I recently purchased an Oil Pressure gauge for my A-pillar pod and it comes with a sender that needs to be tapped into an oil line somewhere.

Has anyone else done this (hard to believe that someone hasn't) and where is the best spot to tap for the sender? The sender is a cylinder about 2" by 3" with a 1/4 x20 (I think) stem.....

Thanks in advance.

John

the location for the sender is located under the engine block on the right side. you need to drain the oil to remove the plug located on the block. you will also need a 3 inch pipe nipple to extend the sender away from the block because there is not enough room to install the sender.

At least on the turbo model there is a plug in the driver's side of the head (acutally 2) that you can remove and use that hole. Not sure on the NA model
