Default Problem: P2138 accelerator pedal positions

Hello,

I am from the Netherlands and i am driving a PT cruiser for 3 years now.
Since a couple of months i have a serious and annoying problem with my PT Cruiser.
My cruiser has the following problem (not every day):
P2138 accelerator pedal positions.
I've brought the car a several times to a Chrysler dealer. But the say there's nothing wrong. Because when the drive with the car the problem does not occur.
Does anybody know what i can do to resolve this problem.

thanks...

P2138 - Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 1-2 Correlation

I tried doing my usual searches and couldn't find anything that would help you. Only one person said he re-calibrated his throttle body to fix the code but there was nothing else about it. You can try spraying some throttle body cleaner to clean out any build up gunk inside the TB and make sure all the bolts, tubes and wires are secure. That's it.

Thank you very much for you quick reply.

I've just made a new appointment with the dealer. There gonna replace the APP sensor in about two weeks from now. I'll hope this will fix the problem.

Well, good luck. I would have thought you'd get a different code if it was the sensor.

Not odd for Chrysler. Hope the sensor fixes your problem.

I've got my new sensor installed for 2 months now.
The problem seems to be fixed.
