does a front strut brace do anything for handling or does it just look cool under the hood ? also does it fit when you have factory cruise control ? it looks like the brackets will interfere with each other.thank you

I have race and street strut brace and it doesn't interfere with cruise control. I have a base cruiser, my wife's is a touring edition and the addition of the brace brought my handling much closer to that of the touring edition.

A front strut brace is supposed to reduce chasis flex to improve handling, don't know from personal experience but others seem to notice a change. Not all strut braces are created equal, some may even interfere with the hood and cause damage if installed wrong. There is a good thread on struts at ptenthusiasts.org
