Help! Our 2001 is just a year old and we have noticed a sudden drop in the gas mileage. The past two tanks were about 15 mpg (if that). We have not changed our driving habits. Has anyone had any problems like this?

Two suggestions - may or may not be relevant.
1 - Check tire pressure. 2 - Check to be sure one of your braks calipers is not stuck and causing constant drag. You may want to take it in to your dealer for this one. Let the service manager know about the sudden drop in gas milage, they may be able to help. |

One one or two or our members over here in the UK have experienced extreme drops in MPG and have had the computer re-programmed by the dealer. If I remember correctly, this fixed the problem in both instances. UK 2001 Silver Ltd Edition |
