I installed the injen on mine and don't have that problem. Its possible your E-brake lever is not going down all the way. Its just a little switch that activates the light when pressed on by your lever. It shouldn't be anywhere near your intake.

You are low on brake fluid. Now that you got your new intake, your car has a bit more pickup. This causes the brake fluid in the reservoir to surge back and tells the sensor that you are low on fluid, therefore triggering the light to go on. Top off your fluids and you'll be fine.

Iggman stated the most probable cause for your flashing brake light during acceleration but keep something else in mind. When you check your brake fluid, if it's low, where did it go? Barring leaks, your brake pads and/or shoes, if you have rear drum brakes, are probably getting low. There have been quite a few entries on the forums where people have complained that their pads have worn down to the point of ruining the rotors with no previous sounds or warnings.....until the metal to metal grinding. Since you're noticing the flashing brake light, it's probably past time to check your brakes, and be sure to check all of them. At times, the actuator in only one of the wheels may stick and cause premature wear from the pads dragging on the rotor. If the pads are 1/8 inch thick or less, replace them.

Hope my $.02 helps.

I was having a similar problem, brake light flashes on during acceleration, so I did a search of the forums here. Thank you all for shedding some light on this issue.
