Oh well, back to "square one" , everyone knew but me that I was dreaming thinking it was going to be that easy. Hopefully tomorrow I can finally test the fan with 12V. And the low press. switch is on backordered as mentioned earlier.

No emissions guidelines ? You showing your age now. I can remember helping a stranded motorist by using a matchbook cover to gap the points.

What's even more frustrating is that I can't do any troubleshooting or repairs until the poison ivy on my hands & arms gets better. ....
If my cooling fan passes the jumper cable test where do I look next? I still can't find the cooling fan circuit relays.66CUDA |

Haven't seen it myself because they changed in 06 but someone else on this forum said the relay is on the fan shroud.

All relays are on the firewall under the hood. No relays or fuses by drivers leg as they are on '01 - '05's.

Yes, the high and low speed relays for the fan are in the PDC in the engine compartment for the 00-05 cruisers but everything changed in 06. I have the complete list of everything that's in the new fuse box for the 06+ plus cruisers and unless they changed the name of the "relay", there's no fuse or relay for the fan in there. When I searched this forum, as I said above, the answer was that the relay (they only mentioned one) was on/attached to the fan shroud and that's a contradiction to what hooligan has said about the firewall.
