Post Cams? What kind and where from?
I've heard there are aftermarket cams for out NA pt's? Where are they located and who makes them? I've tried searching but I cant find much anything.

I did a fast search and it looks like CRANE Cams was doing them for awhile but are no longer in business.

Thats for the srt4 though.. a turbo version in the neon....


And crane cams is going out of business?? How the **** did that happen????? They've been around forever

Oh ok. I stand corrected.

I dont see any numbers in terms of power/mileage though.

Well the one cam they do have in stock from that link doesn't quote HP but does say:

193-0010 - Great for daily driving with good mid range. Use low restriction intake/exhaust and aftermarket PCM for max performance. Works well with stock engine/compression. RPM range idle-6,500

Ya thats the one I was looking at.. seems to fit the stock rpm band just nicely; I'm gonna search around for more info on those cams.

Any other input as to where to buy cams is appreciated though

I got my cams directly from Crane (which was owned by Micronite Technologies last year). Now they were bought out by S & S cycle:

...and still shows all the old part numbers for the PT cams. The one I have in my car is the 180-0010 (or commonly called #10) I know another guy on this forum who has the # 12's. We're both pretty happy with them. It's a nice way to boost your NA PT's power - but they're not cheap or simple to install.
