CO p0340( quick help)
Ok its been here many times before but--where is wire and how hard is it to change cam sensor? My Pt just threw this codep -anybody have a step by step & cost,,,any basic checks( when ck engine lite came on I changed gas cap) still on & this code came up with check) thanks MJB

After you changed the cap, did you remove the negative cable for a few minutes? There was a recent poster that replaced his cap, had the code, then removed the cable. After the first tank full the code went away. Try that and get back with us.

 OK ( I replaced gas cap- lite went out for now?? It did throw code though P0340? should I do anything? I hate trowing $$ at dealers for unknowns..... thanks for all suggestions//// MJB

Ok--- I removed negative cable & removed connection from sensor-retaped & made sure it wasnt touching anything hot.... currently no codes---- ( it doesnt look hard to change though if needed-( I dont want to just change parts if not nessessary) I also added some injector cleaner.... any more tips? MJB
