There used to be plenty of aftermarket vendors that sell battery covers. You could buy them in chrome or in different colors. I did a search and it seems most of the vendors aren't stocking them anymore.

I chose American Car Craft for my chrome battery cover because they also made the underhood 2 piece cover that matches.

Boat parts dealers have battery covers, I'm getting one from West Marine. Had a few to choose from but all plastic. Just going to paint mine to match my car.

Ernie,

I checks Maggie's site and the title of the battery cover says it's for the Turbo. Not sure if it will fit the non-turbo because I'm not sure of the difference in the engine bay.

I noticed that also, if they called Maggie, she may be able to tell them who or where to contact. I got mine from her.

Cool Re: battery cover

The plastic ones that we customize are only "for shows".
There is too much heat in th engine compartment, and they warp.
So, be sure to get a metal/chrome one. Not, chrome plated plastic!
