Check the salvage yards.

Wink Re: Stuck oil drain plug

I just had a striped out drain plug when changing oil and found that Napa has a oversize, self tapping plug that worked great for under $4.after the first run in I pulled the new plug and ran a qt of oil thru to wash out any chips, this really worked good. hope this helps, 01 PT/5spd.

Thanks.
Aftermarket transmission pan with a drain bolt would sell like crazy.

For your engine - get the Fumoto valve already dude....... Part # F-106

When you say the plug is stuck I assume you mean just over tightened.
You should be able to get it loosened somehow.
First try to remove it with a six sided socket not a twelve sided one if the bolt head is not yet stripped out. This and a long socket wrench or breaker bar is what I'd try. The same socket on the end of an impact would If the head is really stripped you may have to go the pipe wrench or vise grip route.
Then get a new plug.

No, then get a Fumoto valve.

I have to go the impact wrench direction. It's way too damn tight. The plug was replaced at the dealership a while back and they had to heat up the pan to get it out. I've seen the rethread kits at pepboys, but none that fit M14x1.50 (current plug). Could I just retap the thing and flush it with oil?
