hi ive done the key trick and came up with these to errors

need help on there meanings and how to fix the problems many thanks

Welcome to the PT Cruiser Links forum.

Please introduce yourself with the basic information about your PT like the year, mileage and previous maintenance that was performed. Also tell us if your still under any kind of warranty. That will help us give you some advice to fix your current problem.

Things change throughout the years of the PT so telling us what year you have narrows down the problem.

One on the things that fix a lot of problems is new plugs and plug wires but if you've already done that it will save us time and help with diagnostics.

It also helps in getting a conversation started instead of just throwing a question out to the forum.

yes sorry about that m8 its a 2003 ltd disel model 2.2 i think its fitted with a unit from merc ..

its done 88k but not many services where stamped in the book when i bought the car..

it has ran no probs for the 6 months ive owned it ..

the engine light lit up last night so i got the codes from the ignition trick..

OK,

With a diesel engine, you have an overseas (England, Euorpe?) model and they don't make them in the U.S. Apparently you also have a Turbo with the P0243 code.

Doing a search on this forum comes up with a wastegate problem. Maybe these couple of older posts can help you with yours.
